Counselor

Hello! I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker in South Carolina. In my twelve years of practice, I worked in medical social work and hospice. I have experience working with individuals with disabilities, homelessness, and addictions.  I work with children, adults, and adolescents. I offer a personalized therapeutic experience utilizing theories of person-centered, strengths-based, and cognitive behavioral therapy, play therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy approaches. I also have extensive training in adoption/foster care mental health. My goal is to walk with you on your journey and support you in reaching your treatment goals.

I have training in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and grief counseling. I am a Level 1 Certified Trauma Professional. I am currently pursuing the requirements to become a Registered Play Therapist. I have a passion for helping people who are experiencing trauma, anxiety, coping with daily stressors, and grief including supporting women who have grieved the loss of a child or pregnancy.

I am a mother of two and moved from the Chicago area to the area in 2019.
