Counselor
Welcome! I am a warm and compassionate therapist who enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adults. I strive to help clients define and understand their obstacles, set reasonable goals, and empower them to make improvements in their lives. My first objective of treatment is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can talk comfortably and share their unique experiences at a pace that is suitable for them.
I am passionate about mental health and a firm promoter of ending mental health stigma. Additionally, I understand the importance of feeling comfortable when sharing feelings and personal experiences with a counselor. I am bi-cultural, bilingual in English and Spanish, and able to conduct counseling sessions in either or both languages.
I received my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and I am Licensed as a Professional Counselor. I have a B.A. in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University. Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family, drinking coffee, and staying physically active.
